Such a hidden gem! Perfect spot to chill by the pool with great coffee and seriously good food. The vibe is super relaxed, and Nathalie is the absolute best! Can’t wait to come back for another sunny day here.

The food here is incredible—fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Service is fast, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. What more could you ask for? I’m so glad I discovered this gem!

The staff is very welcoming, the ambiance is just cool and cozy, and the food is a fairy tale to enjoy. We ordered the cheese with caramelized onion toast, and the Avo sandwich, both were perfectly prepared and served.. I highly recommend visiting the place..

The Pool Café in Cape Town This place is truly a hidden gem and such a lovely spot! If you’re looking for a relaxing breakfast or light lunch in a calm and cozy atmosphere, you need to check it out. I’ve been here three times (in Nov./Dec. 24) already, and here’s why: 1. All-Day Breakfast & Delicious Menu They serve all-day breakfast with a variety of tasty options: egg dishes, burgers, avocado toast, muesli, smoothies, juices—you name it! The menu may seem small, but they’re super accommodating. If you want a specific egg dish, just ask! For example, I highly recommend their omelette with avocado, feta, and crispy bacon—it’s perfection. 2. Coffee with a Twist If you’re not a fan of sweet café lattes, I’d suggest skipping the honey or sweetener. But if you love a little sweetness in your coffee, you’ll really enjoy it. 3. Poolside Vibes Yes, there’s an actual pool here! You can easily access it to cool off and chill. While I personally avoid direct sun and didn’t use the pool, it’s a fantastic feature if you’re looking to relax and refresh. Bonus: There’s no poolside service, which I see as a plus! You can enjoy the pool without feeling pressured to keep ordering. And if you do want something, it’s only a few steps away. Final Thoughts Whether you’re here for the great food, the coffee, or the pool, The Pool Café offers a tranquil escape in Cape Town. Definitely worth a visit!

What a great spot for early morning breakfast. Great coffee, tasty food and service with a smile. We stayed nearby for 2 weeks while visiting Cape Town, and came for breakfast every single morning. Highly recommend this cafe! 10 stars!

Saw this Café on google maps and knew I had to try it. It was a little hard to find but there were a lot of nice people that helped me find the way. The staff was lovely and welcoming and the food also really good. The atmosphere is very calm and just relaxing with a lot of plants, umbrellas and of course the pool:) I would visit it again!

What a pleasant surprise. We found this as we were walking in the area looking for a place for brunch. The place is settled in a beautiful location and the food was more than we expected. Everything was freshly made, and the presentation was very nice. Highly recommend this place for ambience and quality of food.
